Don’t be an environmental pig, use eco tea lights!!!
 
With tea lights we have to deal with 2 problem areas that have a negative impact on our environment. On the one hand, the big issue of aluminium, from which the tea light holders are usually (it still has to be said, unfortunately!) made (enormous energy input in the production up to the problematic accumulation in the body – deodorant, toothpaste, food packaging,…).
 
On the other hand, the petroleum-based Paraffin is becoming increasingly difficult to extract and is thus dragging a trail of devastation behind it, or millions of hectares of rainforest are being cleared for palm oil plantations for industrial use. Biomass from cascade use is collected from primary consumers such as the food industry and is regionally available, versatile, CO2-neutral in use and has no negative impact on food availability.
 
So with the tea lights we offer, this issue does not arise. The aluminium issue is not applicable because the tea lights are supplied without a cover and the sustainability issue is ecologically regulated through the use of biomass. The sustainable raw material made from natural biomass is in no way inferior to the properties of conventionally used paraffin and palm oil.
 
With the mass of tea lights consumed, the environmental damage is considerable and, as always, the decision lies with the consumer and it is important to start small!
 
By the way: Collecting the aluminium tea light holders for reuse is not very feasible in practice because they bend very quickly, so it is better not to use any at all!
